Sunday was the first time I played guitar as a part of the worship service. I am so glad that the first time is over…
We were blessed by my guitar teacher, Tony Douglas, coming and bearing the bulk of the music. Cheryl was excellent in singing and leading the worship.
For the bulk of the summer, we will lead worship once a month. Hopefully at that time I will have enough experience to go twice a month.
But, at this point, God seems to be in it. That is a very good thing. Amen?

Leading Worship on a Church Plant
Posted by: | Comments
Bob Kauflin has an excellent post on leading worship in a church plant. Rather good advice in my opinion. Also his book entitled Worship Matters is a MUST read for any and all church planters….
I urge you to give serious thought to your musical portion of you services before you start your church. This will save you untold hours of grief down the road.
